Welcome to Saint Joseph Crew!

  Our rowing team was founded in August 2010 as the first, and remains the only, scholastic rowing team in Middlesex County, NJ.

 Rowing requires the precision, power, and dedication of top athletes and like any sport that is performed at a serious level, it does require commitment. Expect on-water practices 5-6 evenings per week, independent and  strength & conditioning practices on campus. 

The early morning racing and late evening training and exposure to the weather is perhaps not for everyone, but those who make the choice of rowing as a sport rarely regret it and the sport becomes a way of life.

Rowing experience is not necessary, but an athletic background and a willingness to learn are preferred. 

8th Grade boys and their parents are invited to attend an on-water practice in April or May each spring to learn about the rowing program. Please contact a coach to schedule a day to attend an on-water practice.
